Anybody know where I can get good set of hearing cans like Grados, Sennheisers, Koss, Etymotics or Shures?

I was supposed to go to Beijing this week or the next one, but I just cannot find my passport anywhere. It was probably in my backpack which was stolen about 6-7 months ago. The backpack which contained my RM300 tie which my wife sent for hantaran (she’s still mad at me for this), my beloved and loyal CD player along with my headphones and probably my passport. As usual, the ever-‘helpful’ people at immigrations never fail to not tell me about the things I have to do after a passport is lost. In fact the Abang at Pusat Bandar D’sara told me I should have a police report, a copy of my IC and my application form. So I went the next day after making a police report. After approx 2.30 hours queuing and waiting like a moron, I was told by another dude to get another set of application form, a copy of my birth certificate and a ‘surat akuan sumpah’.

So, I thought feck it. It would take another 8 gajillion years before they settle my problem so I told my bosses that I couldn’t go.

Talking about work, my boss just caught me checking my online application at jobstreet.com.my. I just don’t care anymore. I bust my ass like crazy and this company just don’t care about me. 2 years, not a single thing. No increment. No bonuses. Not even an insurance policy. The home minister’s been nagging like crazy. Even her mother throws an odd sarcasm or comparisons with her other sons-in-law once in a while.

I arrive at the office at 8 and go home at night at 9. Macam kerja gila. I’m having panic attacks. I want to start my own family. I want to spend more time with my parents and family and my wife. The only dude that’s been doing software development with me has tendered his resignation and my boss wants a fresh graduate to replace him. Nothing against fresh graduates, but I think we couldn’t afford the time lost in them catching up with what we’ve done.

Even money seems very tight right now. Cukup2 makan je. After all, in 2 years, I’ve seen my friends get bonuses which they later use for starting up their little businesses or looking at them having a blast in Australia or Bali or whatever. I’m stuck here, working like a mad moron for nothing. The bosses keep telling me that one day we’ll make it but in the end, they’re the ones who will be rich. I’ll just get a RM1000 increment which I should’ve got if I was working elsewhere.

I’m just bitching here. Don’t mind me. I need an outlet.

And a toilet.

Someone: Hey, where did ya go last nite, dawg?
Me: Nu’in. 'Cept watched the best comic-book-to-movie adaptation ever. Like ever!
Someone: Dawg, really?
Me: Yuhuh and you betchor ass! It’s better than The Crow or Dark City or even the first Superman. This is far more cool than the previous one.
Someone: You’re bulshitting me, dawg?
Me: Have I ever bullshitted? No dawg, THIS is it. It’s full of things happening. It’s as funny as your face, and it’s full of action unlike you, you slow dim-witted foo’. Hehehe.
Someone: Quit makin’ fun of my face. It’s not like your face is Tobey Maguire or anything. And you’re no Doc Ock in the head department either, dawg.
Me: Aight. That’s fair. I’m no Doc Ock, but I’m Dawg Ock. Hahahah. Hey, why you ain’t laffin’, dawg? Aight, aight. But I'm telling you, this is the best movie this summer. Unless if M. Night Shyamalan can do sum'in about it.
Someone: Noooo… Like, really?
Me: 100% sure.
Someone: Damn. Gotta see this one then.
Me: Go grab a ticket ASAP! You know they usually talk about a movie being a summer blockbuster and all, generally these movies suck your buster. They more like summer blocksuckster or sum’in, but this is different. It’s like summer, spring, fall and winter blockbuster. Not like it ain’t gonna make any difference here. We summer all year long, dawg.
Someone: Aight, hey gotta go. Got some movie tickets to buy. Peace dawg.
Me: Hek eleeehhh… bagi la salam sekurang-kurangnye. Nak cakap omputih pun, kita ni kan masih org melayu…
Someone: Heheh. Lu bangang la Fengh (Not real name…).

I decided to ditch IE and OE for the time being. I am just this short of installing linux on my machine. M$ keeps fucking things up with their security problems. The only thing that's pulling me back is the pain-in-the-ass installation for other hardware support like bluetooth or other peripherals if I use linux. My PC is now on Apple OS8 theme. I use Mozilla for browsing and Foxmail for E-mails. Regardless, the main engine is still Windows. It's like a Proton - the body's been changed and all, but the engine is still Mitsubishi. (But even a Rolls Royce is like that - UK designed body and all, but using a German engine)

Onanothernote, I can't escape from my past.

Again...
